WINTER WONDERLAND IN WHISTLER

Merry Christmas y’all! I hope you’re enjoying every minute of the day with your families 🙂 Hopefully some of you all are getting some real winter weather too because it’s almost 70 degrees here in Dallas… Oh well, at least I got to enjoy a real winter wonderland in Whistler a few weeks ago!

My stay at the Four Seasons Whistler was the most magical Christmas experience! I usually try to do a winter trip each year to get into the holiday spirit and Whistler was at the top of my list. It did NOT disappoint! The snowflakes were so big and pretty I couldn’t believe it!

The best part of the trip was by far sipping spiked hot cocoa at the Tipsy Snowman! Like seriously how cute are these?! I wanted to try and recreate them for Christmas night because I have a fire pit at my house. But, it’s just not the same without the snow…

A lot of you asked me where we ate and for recommendations on what to do besides ski so here is my list!

MUST DO’S

Scandinave Spa
(BEST money spent)

Tipsy Snowman at Four Seasons

Peak to Peak Gondola
(Then eat at Christie’s)

Drive up to Green Lake and Lost Lake four seasons whistler - one small blonde

red plaid scarf

Winter Wonderland

WHERE TO EAT

Alta Bistro
BEST meal for sure!!

Crêpe Montagne
Try to go for breakfast and dinner

Bar Oso
The prettiest little spot! Great for sharing

Araxi
The #1 recommendation overall and great for seafood! Especially if you like oysters

Beacon Pub
Perfect lunch spot and get poutine

Il Caminetto
So cozy + good spot to sit at the bar!

Christie’s
Aprés ski… Even if you only go for a glass of champagne do it.

Fairmont Bar
Great lively bar for drinks after skiing!

Almost all of the restaurants are in Whistler Village which is just a short 5 minute drive from Four Seasons. They have a shuttle that takes you and picks you up. There is plenty to do in the village too if you aren’t a big skier like me 😉

I’m telling you if you love the snow you’ve got to get to Whistler! Also, it’s not that expensive! My flight was super easy, but you do have to fly into Vancouver and drive. However, the drive is breathtaking so plan extra time!

I couldn’t recommend staying at the Four Seasons more. Plus, they have a hotel dog named Maola so any hotel that is pet friendly is always at the top of my list. You also can’t beat the service at a Four Seasons!
