MY HOME DECOR STYLE

MY HOME DECOR STYLE

I’ll be the first to admit home decor is NOT my thing… I get so overwhelmed picking out decor. I’ll end up buying a ton of stuff and then once it comes in I don’t like it because I don’t know how to make it all work together. Luckily, one of my friends and old neighbor is an interior designer so I hired her last fall to “finish” creating my home decor style.

Of course, 6 months later I decided to sell my house lol. It wasn’t that big of a deal to move because I knew no matter where I would go I’d have my official “style” which makes any house I live in feel like a home. Even though I’m renting for now, I feel settled when I walk into my house and see all of the home decor that makes me happy. P.S. The dogs are happy too!

So, what would I say is my home decor style… No clue. I just know what I like which is a lot of black, darker colors, burlwood (lately), and peel and stick wallpaper in one room is a must.

LIVING ROOM DECOR

The #1 question I get asked is, “Where is your couch from?”. Well, the couch didn’t come with me to the new house because it wouldn’t fit… So sad. Especially since I got it for Christmas so only used it for about 5 months. Thankfully, I’m loaning it to my girlfriend so it’s in good hands until I move again.

I used to have a big white sectional sofa from Z Gallerie, but now still have a similar couch just not a sectional. The reason I loved the Z Gallerie couch so much was because the length of the chaise was longer than any other couch I could find. When you have a big dog and another person trying to lay on the couch to watch TV you need as much room as possible. Not going to lie, I miss my couch.
