SUMMER TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

I’ve got the travel bug again… I kinda took a break from traveling this spring, but now I’m back at it for summer! That’s why today I want to share my summer travel bucket list along with the summer travel essentials you need to pack. Since you all know I’m a big fan of Ann Taylor, I want to share some items I will be taking on my summer travels along with a few things I just took with me on my trip to Chicago!

When you live in Texas it’s always nice to escape the summer heat if at all possible. I’ve debated just moving for the month of August because it’s so miserable. That’s why a lot of the places on my summer bucket list are up North like Napa and Lake Tahoe. However, I am beyond excited about my upcoming trip to Costa Rica!!! I know I’m trying to escape the heat but it’s flipping Costa Rica and I’m not passing up that opportunity!!

SHOP THE OUTFITS

All of the items I’ve listed below are things that will most likely always be summer travel essentials. Like a basic white t-shirt is necessary for just about any vacation in my opinion. Also, props to Ann Taylor because finding a really great white t-shirt is harder than you think. Also,  a great pair of white jeans and comfortable shoes are high on the list! These gold metallic slides are so cute and comfortable I couldn’t resist. Plus, a good pair of white sneakers are a must because if you’re going to be walking around all day please don’t wear your workout sneakers (sorry fashionista moment!).

You all know me… I always want to look good but I want to be comfortable more than anything. That’s why I wore these blue striped shorts for our bike riding adventure in Chicago. Then the day we drove up to Wisconsin it was a bit cooler so I’m happy I had this sleeveless sweater in my bag! Btw…the jeans I’m wearing with the fringe sweater are legit the most comfortable jeans I own now. Like wearing them on every plane ride moving forward!

This list will only get longer and longer… But, I’d love to know what’s at the top of your summer bucket list too? Costa Rica has been on my list for a long long long time and I’m so flipping excited to be there at the beginning of July!! I will absolutely be packing this basic white t-shirt and my pom pom fedora.
